Where party-hardy 30-somethings come to play until morning light.. The Scene
Several blocks from the bustle of the boardwalk, Trump Marina corners the nightlife market by the bay with this ocean-themed disco. Casual vibes flow around the Wave's three bars. There are always a group of guys in golf shirts and giddy ladies belonging to a bachelorette party. Cover bands and '80s nights fill the club's summertime roster, making this place a little friendlier to post-20-somethings. Familiar tunes incite club-wide lip synching--sometimes an all-club sing along. But don't expect all hearts and rainbows among the miniskirts: The Wave's reputation for packing in patrons tends to flare tempers almost as much as it makes matches.
