Worst service, below par food, overpriced – So it is the first day of the new year and we went for dinner here. The ambiance is nice, too dark though. The restaurant was empty at this time. The waitress first comes over and spills water on the table because she obviously couldn't see the glass- too dark. She also demanded for us to hand her the glasses for her to pour water in it. I've never had that happen before, usually the waitress does it all. I'd be glad to slide it closer to her but she made no attempt. After one of two of our appetizers were done she took our plates and left the one appetizer for us to poke at with our forks with no plates. Additionally she took the fork off my plate, placed it on the table, and expected me to use it again. Has she no etiquette?! Either bad waitress or even worse training. It was even more appalling when she took the second appetizer with my dirty fork- and again she took the fork off and placed it in front of me like I was going to use it. Absolutely absurd! I politely asked for a new fork. We got our main courses and they were not that good, just alright. Only worth while item was the sea bass. Afterwards we ordered a coffee and espresso, no dessert. When I said no dessert she gave me this very weird look as if she was disappointed by us and we made her sad. She came back with the check which listed my espresso as a double. The price was not the issue, however when I told her about it she asked if I have ever eaten here before and that all they have are double espressos- that the machine only has a button for double espressos despite the menu listing a single and double. I found that insulting, asking if I've ever eaten there before and deceitful. From what I saw it was not a double and she was just trying to pull a fast one. To top it all, as I was signing the check she comes over and asks for it. AS I AM SIGNING IT! How rude, after she took it she gave us a dirty look, probably mistaking the small 15.00 I put for 5 only. Do not ever go here!

Worst experience ever – This is by far the worst experience I have ever had. We asked to be moved and the waitress gave us some attitude over really nothing. Then the waitress knocked over a candle while setting our food down and candle wax spilled on my coat, ruining it. Candle wax also got on my wife's handbag and over all our shopping bags. We couldn't believe it. A manager came over and gave us her business card saying 'send us your dry cleaning bill.' It is wax, it cannot be dry cleaned out. Getting wax out of fabric is a tedious slow process with mixed results. So we ate the food which was nothing special and when the bill came we thought they might comp us the drinks or food. Not at all. The manager had promised to come back and 'make things right' but even though we were there over an hour she never did. Mediocre food, terrible service and wait staff attitude plus ruined clothes to boot. I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS TO ANYONE, EVER.

Eat here! – Great food, great service, knowledgeable waitstaff....what more can you ask for? A dining classic! The perfect brunch mimosa, i've never had better in my life.
