Resort offers a calming escape from AC casinos/nightlife.. Ultra-luxe AC resort offers a calming escape from the casinos and nightlife of the adjacent Borgata. You can’t gamble, order steak, see a show or go dancing at The Water Club, the much-ballyhooed hotel tower added on to Borgata’s property in 2008. But you can swim, spa and swoon at this oh-so-indulgent addition that’s connected to its older Atlantic City sister by a serpentine passageway and a love of all things luxe. Geared toward the Rolex-wearing adult who wants to partake in AC’s wildlife while sleeping over in a fountain-and-plant adorned retreat, The Water Club’s one lounge (that doubles as a breakfast nook), two-story spa, five heated indoor and outdoor pools, six credit card balance-busting boutiques, and 800 exquisitely appointed guest suites comprise this royal flush of an accommodation whose sophisticated serenity makes it add up to so much more than the sum of its parts.
