Top-floor Tropicana Italian wine bar is quiet and romantic. This wine bar at the “Top of the Trop” is a quiet destination away from the madness of the casino and The Quarter. With mood lighting, nightly live jazz, 30 wines by the glass, small Italian nibbles and huge windows overlooking the ocean, this could be the most romantic hideaway in the entire hotel/casino. However, don’t go expecting glitz: although it opened in the summer of 2009, the tired pattern on the carpet and the bronze chairs that look distinctly casino lounge give it an appearance that’s more Love Boat than Love Shack.
