Always Delicious, Always Friendly. After my neighbor nagged me to go to lunch there, I was pleasantly surprised by the politeness of the staff and the freshness of the food. I reminded me of my trip to Italy. If you are looking for the typical Italian fair, it may not be your taste although they do offer chicken parm, this place is for a more adventurous pallet. My husband and I take time to enjoy are meals and linger. We are never rushed and enjoy every bite! I would say this not suitable for children who cannot stay in their seats. It has a small seating area and an unruly child would make for an unpleasant meal for the rest of the diners. Possibly why the one reviewer was turned away. I have been going there for over a year now and always greated with a friendly courteous staff. Even for take out, always pleasant. Always great food. I would recommend the pizza forestiera if you can't eat in. Ciao!
Atlantic County's Best Italian Cuisine.
Warmly welcomed by the hostess each time we;ve dined. I have to admit, Once you taste this little bit of Heaven....You will be addicted to it! I have tried many menu items, and have never been disspointed.
Bring your own wine, or other spirits to perfect the meal!
The dining area is very small, and you really need reservations for diner. However we have walked in several times and were seated right away at lunch time.
They even prepare food for parties or other gatherings.
Although I have never dined with my children at this establishment, I have ordered their take out for them. My children age 7 and 14 Love the pizza and meatballs.
MAMA MIA'S RISTORANTE. I had heard really wonderful things about this new Italian restaurant with incredible pizza so I thought that as a treat I would take my 4 yr old daughter for some Authentic Italian food. Imagine my disappointment when we arrived at the Restaurant only to be discouraged from eating there. When we asked to be seated we were COLDLY informed "NO by the server no explaination just "NO" as he stared at us as though we were something unpleasant that he stepped on. Obviously I thought I misunderstood because the dining room was completely empty and might have not been opened yet even though it was 6pm on a Tues. Eventually a woman came over, I am assuming was the Mananger and she informed me that this was a "FINE DINING" restaurant & there was no childrens menu but we were more than welcome to order "TAKE OUT" from the casual dining menu as if we would not be able to afford the prices. I will tell you as a server in a high end restaurant I was appalled at the attitude & distain from this establishment especaily in this economy when people are EXTREMLY particular where they spend their money, new business struggling to survive and with empty dining room they should have been begging us to stay instead of discouraging us. If I or any other employee in my Restaurant was ever to treat a guest like that we would be immediatly terminated so you can be sure that I have passed this experience on to the other parents at my daughter's school as well as my friends and family. While the Pizza might be delicious and the decor beautiful...You are better off going to an Olive Garden or GODFATHER'S. where they welcome you with a smile and are happy to serve you. I will never go attempt to eat there again Casual take out or otherwise!
