Tips for Phoenix Diner

the chicken is dry like the desert. the decor was lovely, the service was fair for a slow night. Being a local person I often like diners because of the complete meal, bread, soup, salad and the entree and i'm not one for fast food. I had eaten there on a few occasions in the past and was very disappointed this trip I had french onion soup, salad and the roasted chicken with dressing. all was pretty good except the roasted chicken... it was over cooked and extremely dry, the wing and leg portion was as hard as a rock and was uneatable. I brought this to the waitress' attention and she said it was nothing that could be done. so..... instead of making a big deal, I've opted not to dine there again. Very expensive also.

Awesome Diner. Phoenix Diner is a clean diner with great service. its open 24/7 all year round and all holidays. The food is great especially breakfest. The management is very good, the service is awesome. The desserts are very appealing and taste great. Baking is done on premises. The diner is inexpensive with all sorts of good foods. Breakfest lunch and diner is served all hours of the day. This is the place for anyone who wants to go out and eat. The view in the side room is awesome. its the best diner ive been it

Service with a Side. An interesting phenomenon about the Phoenix is that your degree of service is directly related to the area of the restaurant in which you are seated. If you pass by the cakes in the round and turn right, you're in good shape. But more often than not, your waitress is less interested in you when you've been seated to the left, in the larger room. This is particularly true during lunch hours on weekdays. But the coffee is great and dinners are phenomenal no matter where you sit--and if you like seafood with pasta, it is the place to go!
