Jimmy McL - formerly "JetSet Jimmy"
"Vasser Salon and John Roberts " - I have been a devoted customer of Jim for 30 years - I would not let anyone else cut my annoying hair - he turns my mess into something that gets a lot of comments - he is the best and now that I am a "mature"woman, he is keeping me looking my best - talented, experienced and knowledgeable = don't waste your money anywhere else and with ANYONE else. Jim has magic hands and HiTech has him - great salon experience.

Horrible hair cut for my 8 yr daughter
and they charged more for her than i pay elsewhere for myself. On my way now to get her hair fixed at a good salon.

The people are rude! My son went in to
get a haircut and the lady who was supposed to cut it refused.

Excellent Experience.
I am new to the area , when I saw a woman in my zumba class that had a great haircut, I asked where she went. I went on line to get the # and when I read the reviews, I almost didn't go, since there were some pretty bad reported experiences What a mistake that would have been......I just went today and it was fabulous! Jackie was great and talented, the salon was warm and friendly and even gave me a gift when I left. I would certainly recommend Hi Tech over and over again. Rita

Time to move on!.
After 13 or so years I've had enough. They're just overpriced & offer little as far as customer service/customer satisfaction go. This is the place if you want layers, I'm convinced that's all they (Laura B)know. It's hard to swallow when you go in with the anticipation of coming out with a new or different "do" to come out with yet again, the same blah hair cut (The Rachael are we still in the '90's). You can tell them what you'd like or how much you want trimmed or how you spent the last 6 months growing out your hair/layers for this new look but it goes in one ear & out the other. They get so caught up in conversation that they turn on their autopilot mode & do exactly what you didn't want...AGAIN. Don't bother complaining, they'll only ask you again what is was you wanted & tell you it'll be the right length for that style next time. And DON'T bring your kids here, they charge no differently. The hair styles of some the women who work there are chic, but what about the paying clients?

3 Horrible Experiences.
1. My regular hair stylist was on vacation, and I desperately needed a cut. I decided to go to High Tech to check it out and boy was I disappointed. The girl who cut my hair did a horrible job. I was a walk in so she didn't have time to blow dry. Later after it dried I noticed it was horribly uneven.
2. I decided to go back to the salon a few weeks later and have my cut fixed and highlighted. The stylist remarked on how horrible the cut was, and how the girl who had cut it was new and they should have a talk with her. She just evened up the cut, but charged $45! I thought that was outrageous, because they messed it up in the first place, and she hardly cut my hair! I wouldn't even say it came close to a trim! She spent a total of 5 minutes on it. Then, the highlights. I said subtle, and natural looking, which apparently translates into bright red & unnatural looking.
3. Holy Cow. What do I do? The next week I called the salon, said I wasn't happy with the results and would like to pay to have it fixed. Apparently this woman doesn't listen to a word I say, I again repeated that I wanted something subtle and natural and that the red made me uncomfortable. I walked out there with even worse results. They were just a deeper brighter red. I was speechless.
All in all, within 10 minutes of being home from High Tech I went straight to CVS, bought box dye and returned my hair to its original color. $220 down the drain. High Tech has the prices of an upscale salon, but lacks the atmosphere and expertise.

bad news..
The stylists here all seem to by stuck in the late 90's. The woman who butchered me had zero knowledge of current trends, spent all of 15 minutes on what would have, in another (better) salon, been at least an hour long haircut. I hate to leave such a scathing review but if I can save one person from the trauma I experienced here, it was worth the negativity. Sorry Hi-Tech, I have but one word for you-
TRAGIC!
