Worst internet experience. A total rip off. The seller Reubena, promised to deliver scrolls for wedding favors. Never received anything, never got a call that she could not deliver. Paid her 4 months before due, she never returned money. Kept calling her until 2 days before wedding and never got a call back. Warning do not give her your money or trust anything she says. A great website but no product and seller is not trustworthy. Very frustrating experience. Beware.
Absolutely Terrible. Buyer Beware – Main Points:
The Seller, Reubena, does not respond to emails or phone calls.
Her products are cheaply made
Has made no attempts to remedy situation
Worst online experience ever.
I wanted to commemorate our first wedding anniversary by getting a scroll made of a poem that was read during the ceremony. I was really excited about getting my wife this and unveiling it to her on the big day. I placed the order some 3 1/2 months before I needed it, which I thought was enough time.
At first, Reubena was not very responsive to emails. Taking 2 weeks to respond sometimes. She said that it creating the scroll would take 3 months because she was having trouble with her software, which I thought was fine because so long as I got on time, I really didn't care.
I got the scroll about 4 or 5 days before my anniversary and to say I was upset is putting it mildly. The scroll had four dowels on the the top and bottom corners, three of which were broken off. The scroll was a piece of regular artisan paper pasted on a cheap would board. There were wooden rods that were glued to the bottom and top of the scroll where the dowels were attached. It was obvious that Reubena didn't really know what she was doing.
However, what upset me the most was the bubbling. It was obvious that the scroll had been exposed to water at some point and that the so called scroll was badly glued on. There were large bubbles all over the scroll.
Since then, I emailed her twice. Once to tell her what happened and how upset I was. She responded within an hour saying that she would fix it. She has not. It has been over a month since I sent that email and my phone calls and emails have all gone unanswered. You live and learn, I suppose. Reubena got my money, money that I worked hard for, money that she did not earn. To be totally honest, and I've asked a lot of people about this, and they all agree. What I asked for and what I received were two totally different things. Honestly, I paid $190.00 for something that should have only cost, at most, $50. I feel that I have been robbed. Reubena got my money under false pretenses.
I will never get my money back because Reubena does not want to deal with me. This review is all I can really do. I hope you do NOT use her services, you will save your self a lot of grief.
Beautiful invitation scrolls – My fiance, now husband Mark, and I were extremely happy with the scroll invitations we received. We started getting calls the very next day after we had mailed the invitations with compliments. Our guest were extremely impressed with the detail. We also used our colorful family crest which was brilliantly arranged on the scroll. The quality of hand made specialty paper and satin ribbon matched our colors perfectly. We also had a matching guest register scroll and matching scroll place cards for each guest which also served as a keepsake. We will refer InkCurves to all our friends and family. Great Job InkCurves and special kudos to the designer- Reubena who had so much patience with us and our changes.
