They forgot what customer service is.
The room was dirty. While the beds were made, the trash from the guests before us remained in the room. The staff was extremely rude and unhelpful. We had an issue on night 2 where the guests in the room next to us threw a drunken wild party. While I don't hold guest actions against the Showboat, they are responsible for how they responded. 2 calls to the front desk for this issue. The 1st had no response from security & the 2nd led to security going to the room next door and then coming to our room to say they went next door. When asked why it took them over an hour to respond (since my 1st call), the security guy was rude and said 'I came up here didn't I'. 5 minutes after he left they started up again. Having enough, we packed up & left. When I checked out I told the front desk exactly why we were leaving and she just laughed 'some people like to party' was her reply. When I called to speak to management once we got home the front desk person said "bite me" and "you're talking to the wrong person b*tch". Sadly I didn't get her name, but I did tell the customer service rep what she said & all the issues we had. She said she would take it to management and have someone call me back. To date I have heard nothing. Save your money and stay someone nice.
