Horrible. We arrived with great expection only to be disappointed by slow service and an avoidant waiter. We wondered if it was an overall problem throughout the room but watched as tables were seated after us, were served promptly, ate and left BEFORE we got our food! The difference? We had kids. Were my kids out of line or noisy, nope. When a member of my small group pointed out the issue to the server, she did not apologize or offer any explanation. In fact, she looked entirely ticked off.

For those interested in our opinion of the food - it was "ok" but nothing to write home about.

Tip - don't bother.

Best steaks and seafood in AC!. The Knife and Fork is one of the best restaurants in Atlantic City. The food is fresh and prepared in a magnificant fashion. The ambiance is amazing, and the bar is a great meeting place. The seafood is always prepared in an interesting way and the specials are very creative. The service is second to none, and the wine list is one of the best around.

If you want to go to a first class restaurant, and want avoid the casino crowds, the Knife and Fork is the best option in AC.

Great customer service. My fiance and I went here to celebrate our engagement. When he called to make the reservation he had let them know we were getting engaged before coming and asked if we could have an isolated table. The manager went out his way to our evening and experience special. I was very impressed with the level of customer service and the food!

Under great new management. Forget the casino restaurants. The food is sensitive,sophisticated and served in a romatic setting. There is valet parking and a friendly and accomodative staff. Crab and corn cakes, a huge frenched pork chop, baby lamb chops and don't miss the sides: beer battered green beans with lemon aioli, beet chips and goat cheese potato gratin. Desserts conclude the surprisingly consistent menu. Attractive cocktail menu.We had a great Suvignon Blanc for $35 from an adaptable wine list.

An AC landmark that satisfies with old-style cuisine of the South Jersey seashore.. In Short
This restaurant's red roof has been part of AC's skyline since 1912--long before Trump took over this part of town. The cuisine honors the Inn's glory days, when the Rat Pack ruled, and food was simple and rich. Be prepared to become acquainted with oysters Adrienne, lobster Thermidor, crab meat-stuffed seafood and bleu cheese dressing. Succulent lobster stands out among entrees. Other best bests include flavorful seafood bouillabaisse and tender pork prime rib.

Dowmbeach Landmark!. Outstanding landmark "downbeach!" Family owned and operated for decades, it was truly a gourmet experience! Service was outstanding; food exquisite; atmosphere wonderful. Highly recommend it for an upscale, romantic dinner.
