Robert's Place is a great neighborhood bar. Though mainly frequented by regulars & locals...it's very popular with tourists in the summer months. Robert's is known locally for having excellent buffalo wings, and the reputation is well deserved. I've never had a bad meal there. While they have very good "bar standards" like burgers, wings, pizza & fries...they also have an excellent dinner menu. The barbecued ribs fall off the bone. They also have an ever-changing feature of specials.

The service is friendly and very good...but they do get very crowded during special events...so wait time is commensurate with crowd size.

Be forewarned...Robert's is cash-only. They do not accept credit cards. There is an ATM right on the corner though.

Another quirk is that they do not have any beer on tap. It is an all-bottle bar. They stock all of the popular domestics & imports, but no microbrews or anything too fancy.

Overall...Robert's is a nice, friendly place where you can get an excellent meal...and stay after to watch the game on tv.
