Overpriced, badly cooked food. Jerusalem is the only glatt kosher meat restaurant in this area, and the owners have taken advantage of their position. The prices were astronomical and the food was overcooked, disgustingly salty, and bland. The service was haphazard.

I was really outraged by our meal.

UPDATE- Hashgacha. This place as of 2/9/2011 has no Mashgiach Temidi and it is no longer under the OK hasgacha. I am told the food is pretty good. Although I have been told that people have seen Orthodox people there , please note that there is no longer OK hashgacha

BEST KOSHER RESTAURANT IN SOUTH JERSEY!!!!!. UNDER OK SUPERVISION WITH MASHGIACH TMIDI!!!!!!! Had the best middle eastern experience here, hands down. We started going to Jerusalem Restaurant back in 2000, family owned and very friendly. For appetizers , we had the bushette, sigars, falafel and of course only the best matza ball soup in the world. For entrees, we had juicy well prepared steaks which were accompanied by our choice of 2 sides (included in entree price), schnitzel, lamb chops, baby chicken skewers and beef shish. For dessert we had turkish coffee to around, peanut butter pie, tiramisu, warm apple pie, and choc mousse cake. We did not mind leaving the 18% gratuity, in fact, we tacked on an additional 7% since the service was phenomenal. The owner, Yakov, is a very knowledgable tzadik. We go about 6 times a year and we send everyone we know there. For the price of the entree, you get 2 side orders as well. Trying saying the same for Shari's where you literally get chased out of the restuarant for making a comment. Sharies has terrible service, dry meat, and prices higher than Jerusalem. SHARIS HAS NOT HAD STAR-K SUPERVISION FOR OVER A YEAR, SO BE AWARE. Jerusalem Restaurant is the only place for me when visiting AC. I highly recommend it. If money is an issue, then stay at home, eat your sandwiches, and hold on tightly to your money. Jerusalem is the best!!!!

VERY VERY $$$$$$$$$$$$$. The prices were unreal. We could not beleive how expensive it was. Prime Grill has better prices and is a LOT more FANCY.

The food was pretty decent. NO WORTH THE PRICE. Poritions are small food is good though.

If you are willing to spend lots of mula on average food and are depsarate for kosher go for ittttttttt.

Only Bother If You're Desparate and starving. From Outside this place looks presentable enough. There is not much choice in the Atlantic City area if you want kosher food, and a good restaurant with reasonable prices would probably clean up from both kosher seeking and regular clientele. This place doesn't even open up till a rediculously late hour ( forget about lunch meals) more like early suppertime. The wait to get served at that time is quite lengthly and the prices are unheard of especially for what you get. The day I was there there was 1 waitress and the owner and he was the maitre d and chef and cashier as well, and he also served the meals. The food was presentable, but nothing to write home about. Mostly very common fare and not very tasty, not memorable at all. The prices they charged were outrageous. For my steak dinner, and for my wife's steak dinner and for a sandwich to go for my daughter was about $125 and I forgot to tell you about the mandatory 18% tax they charged as a tip, which was highly undeserved (especially since the owner was our waiter and the service was slow). In all it was a really distasteful forgetable experience.
