Pet Hotel is convenient and affordable

When I checked in, there were also others at the same time. Since I was never there, I asked some of the others what their experiences were. Although they all responded positively, it was easy to tell by the reactions of their dogs as the employees of this place accepted each dog. People told me that when their dogs see the building, their dogs start straching on their car window, and can't wait to get inside! While I was waiting for my check-in, another dog was leaving, and I inquired with the Owner how his dog appeared. I was advised that their dog always comes out happy, and they always bring him there for both boarding, and grooming. As I'm

a table player in The Casino, I'm not sure what time that I will be picking up the dog. I was clearly explained the various options, and given an after hours telephone number which I was instructed to call. Before leaving my dog, I asked to see where he was staying, because I had read the other reviews, and wanted to see for myself what the real truth was! Well, I would have driven back home if it was anything like any of the really bad reviews that I read.....but, it wasn't. It was clean, comfortable, and a spacious accommodation. I just don't understand where some of these "Reviewers" got their information. (Note: What I saw was exactly what I was told by other people who dropping their dogs off, and were picking them up.) When I picked up by dog at 9:45pm, there was someone waiting to give me my dog. My dog was happy, and clean, and I was very pleased with this service.

The Only Facility I trust to take care of my 2 boxers

My boxers are like my children and I want only the best for them. Both are very active and need lots of attention.

The pet hotel provides them with everything I give them at home and more. They love their long walks, lots of play time, and the love and attention they get from the wonderful caring staff. They especially love playing with other dogs that are the same size and temperment.

When I tell them they are going to the pet hotel in Atantic City they race to the car. As soon as we arrive they are jumping out the door and running into the front door of what has become their second home.

There is another family with 2 boxers that go there frequently as well. If they are not staying on the same dates, one of the staff members calls their family, and they bring the (2) boxers from Margate for doggy daycare so they can play with my guys.

What a wonderful clean, safe and happy place for my boys to enjoy. I also love the fact that i can take them out during the day when we start to miss them.

• Pros: Unlimited attention. Pets are treated like royalty!

Confortable like Home!

I owned my own Pet Grooming Salon for many years, so it has been very hard to find a Groomer and Pet establishment I can trust, and have total piece of mind!

The Atlantic City Pet Hotel gives my pets the same loving care and professional grooming as if I was doing it myself! The dogs love the facility, and staff. I would not send my pets to any other Groomer, or Pet Hotel. I highly recommend them to anyone who wants nothing but the best for their pets.

Terrible - not a hotel, a smelly KENNEL

Do not leave your pet here. The staff is untruthful about everything. They said there was a large outdoor area for the dogs and that the dogs are kept in "r u n s". I asked to see the facilities before we dropped my dog off, and they said no because there was "grooming" going on - now I know that was an excuse. I did see the facilites later on, and the dogs are not kept in "r u n s", they are in cages. The "outdoor area" is just a slab of concrete. The worst part was, when I picked my dog up, they said he had knocked over his water bowl onto his blanket (which he NEVER does). They gave us the blanket in a trash bag, and we later realized the blanket was soaked in URINE! My dog is 100% crate trained, and can go all day holding his urine. I don't believe they take them on walks "4 times a day", as they claim. Regardless, why didn't they tell the truth about the blanket, instead of trying to lie and say he had spiled his water? The place is terrible - anyone who wants their pet to be happy will look elsewhere.

stinks of urine

If they would spend as much time cleaning the place as they do posting phony reviews, maybe I wouldn't be writing this.This is the worse place to leave your pet. I got one smell and looked at the dirty cages and took my dog to another place in the next town.Too bad this is the only place close to the casinos. If you love your pet you will do a little driving to make sure they are well taken care of. This place stinks.

Only the Best for my Sassy!!~!

This faciltiy is unique. The love and care they give their guests is 2nd to none. I always used the sevices of a dog walker or pet sitter in the past and would never go back. Yes they come in each day to feed and walk pets, but Sassy loves the 24 hours of TLC she rceives when she vacations at the Atlantic City 24 hr. Pet Hotel in her air conditioned condo with stereo music, a comfortable bed and lots of toys.

I highly recommend them. If you have any questions you can contact me anytime.

I will not bring my dog here again

This place is not what it seems. This is not a dog hotel as it advertises on its web site. I was glad that I only brought my dog here for a day and not for an overnight stay. The water was not fresh, they fed my dog random dog food without getting approval first, which of course made the dog very sick. The play area was very small and the back area looked like a prison from the camera in the front area. We were told that we could pick up our dog at any time, just to call if it was going to be after five. When we called, they said we had to get the dog before 6:30 because the person working there was going to see a show and would be gone until 9 pm, meaning there would be no one there with the dogs. When we picked up the dog, she smelled like baby powder, I don't know what was put on her. Overall, this was a very unprofessional place that was not clean. I am not one of those people that pampers my dog, but do expect a certain amount of service when leaving my dog with a stranger. Never again!

BAD BET

I will never take my dog back here again. The facility stinks of urine and toxic cleaners. Dogs are wearing diapers and she was terrified when I picked her up. Don't go by the reviews posted by the owner - review the facility yourself - DEMAND to see "behind the curtain" and ask for 5 LOCAL REFERENCES...they won't be able to provide them because everyone in Atlantic County knows they are the worst facility.

Atlantic City Pet Hotel

Hi my name is Mark and I?m the hotel manager. I would just like to say if you're looking for a fun, safe, loving environment for your dog or cat this is the place you want to be. I am responsible for feeding, walking, playing and caring for your pets. I sterilize and clean your pets play and sleep area every morning and every night. The owners adore dogs and if your dog is friendly they give you the option of letting your dog have free rain of the place, so this way there never caged unless to sleep, or if you prefer to have your pet separate that's fine too. We do have diapers and ONLY use them at the pet owner?s request, as some people do use them at home and don?t want to break there dogs routine. You are also free to check up on your pet or just visit to see how they're doing. I got into this business because I love dogs so I joined the family over at Atlantic City Pet Hotel and Grooming and could not imagine myself anywhere else. But please don't take my word for it. Stop in and see for yourself. You will not be disappointed, and that?s a promise.

Amazing Hotel for Pets

I was referred by both CitiSearch and my Casino Hotel. I love Atlantic City but I love my Maltese more. I would never put Winston in a Kennel and have had bad experiences with pet sitters. The AC Pet Hotel is amazing. They are minutes from my Hotel/Casino. The staff is wonderful. the facility is clean and adorable. They are truly a dog and dog lovers dream. They give lots pf attention to each dog. They gets lots of attention and play time. Their sleep areas are large and clean and they spend very little time in them. The dogs are either playing up front, in the middle area, the large back area, or the large enclosed yard, always supervised by a dog loving staff member. I just returned from AC and Winston was so happy there that I am reserving a place for Wnsten when I take my 2 week vacation in Feb. Check them out. You will be very happy. PS They are on a lovely tree lined street in a safe neighborhood filled with single homes, far away from the riff raff of the trypical Atlantic City streets.

• Cons: I have to travel 100 miles every time I want to go on vacation, but it is worth it!
